Chevron/Texaco Turbine Oil Symbol 2190 TEP was developed primarily as a circulating system oil for marine gear turbine sets. Turbine Oil 2190 TEP provides mild extreme pressure protection as well as resistance to rust, oxidation, corrosion, and foaming. Intended Use:
2190 TEP is recommended for use in marine turbine reduction gears, where heavy tooth loading and shock loads are encountered. The extreme pressure properties enable 2190 TEP to meet the requirements of MIL-PRF-17331 (H & J). Provides military approvals for use in military equipment; deposit protection; wear protection; bearing corrosion protection. This product is compatible and can be mixed with any other product meeting the same military specification.
