Description:
Shell Metalina Coolant Y 850 is designed for use in grinding of cemented carbide materials. It is inherently resistant to leaching of cobalt from hard metals, thereby reducing the risk of skin or respiratory irritation experienced by some metal workers when exposed to dissolved cobalt.

Intended Use:
Shell Metalina Coolant Y 850 is a fully synthetic fluid that provides extended wheel life and does not leave gummy residues. It contains no mineral oil leaving surfaces clean. Shell Metalina Coolant Y 850 contains lubricity components to provide high surface finishes when needed. Most grinding operations require the use of Shell Metalina Coolant Y 850 at concentrations of 3-5% by volume in water.
