Intended Use:
Shell Caprinus XR 40 is suitable for medium speed two-cycle and four-cycle diesel engines, including EMD, General Electric, Fairbanks-Morse & ALCO. Shell Caprinus XR 40 may also be used on other similar diesel engines used as auxiliary or main engines in marine service or as switching locomotives.
