Description:
Pennzoil Mercon V is a high viscosity index product and offers good oxidation stability, corrosion prevention, foam resistance, and controlled frictional properties. This fluid also provides good seal compatibility; wear protection, and smoother shifting.

Intended Use:
Pennzoil ATF Mercon V is specially formulated for Ford automatic transmissions where a Ford Mercon V fluid is recommended. Mercon V fluids are typically recommended for Ford automatic transmissions beginning with the 1997 model year. Pennzoil ATF Mercon V is also suitable for use in those Ford automatic transmissions that require the use of a Mercon fluid or other transmissions that require the use of a former type Dexron III fluid.
